The year i probably wont want to remember but im sure ill look back fondly someday.

Starting off Jan 1 looked like it was a blast. We had a new years party here at the house. I remember that. Aaron turned in early. He was still living in the back at the time. Everyone else had stayed up all night. This may have been the night Liseth an I had that big long talk with Tarkas. Im not super sure tho. I had just started at NCTI I think. I was hired in the middle of one of the classes with a few ALCO people including Marco and one other. Jan 2ed we were playing dnd on Tuesday or Thursday nights I think. Something that only happened 2- 3 times but we really did try. Its probably the longest consistent group any of us had had in awhile. That fizzled out unfortunately. I think due to life. I went on a few nature walks and on Jan 6 I took Liseth and her sister to see Little Yosemite in Sunol Regional Wilderness. It was cool becuase as soon as we got there it rained. We hiked for a bit before hiding under the bridge to get out of the rain. Not that we minded it much. The rain did eventually stop and we did make it to the falls. We had a few more board game night at the house including paying sheriff of nottingham with tarkas. A game I really enjoyed alot. Since the game with Lucas started to Fizzle out I started my own campeign that also didnt last so long but it did go a few more sessions than the one with Lucas. The Wild Beyond the Witchlight. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Again, life sort of gets in the way sometimes. I remember being a little frustaited with the whole thing but i certinaly learned alot about timing and being a DM. I remember i was frustraited becuase I would give people a time and many would show up late and we would only have enough time to play for maybe 3 hours before people tapped out. I remember i had done so much prep work and there was so much content it was a little frustraiting. I dont know why i was so rigid with it. I remember wanting to vomit all of this conent out to the players and really try to engage with them as much as i could. But if life gets in the way then it gets in the way, no matter how much you enjoy playing a game. Jan 17 i think i was really strapped for money and I was trying to sell my Triathlon bike. There were very few people who wanted it and most wanted to know what “size” it was which i had a hard time figuring out. I remember i never took it off the market so random ass people would message me like 8 months later asking if it was still available. Jan 21 we had an A+S competition. Jan 22ed we went on a short walk at Coyote Hills. I remember having a big talk about something there but dont remember what it was about. Jan 23ed was more DM’ing at the house. A friend from work advertised hes renting his place out. 2bd 1.5 bath, private back yard, washer/ dryer, 1,000sq ft, 1 car port with $2,495/ mo with $1500 deposit. I was fucking floored. and i dont think anyone can really convince me that this was a good deal for the time. $2500/ mo is fucking robbery. But i get it. Its a reflection of the market, i know. Jan 26 we went to a 1920’s inspired murder mystery party. we both dressed up pretty well i might add. Jan 28th more Wild Beyond the Witchlight. Feb 4th eric and I played board game at the house. 2/7/24 was when my case with falck had been setteled. I got 15K out of it. taxed of course. Tax i would never pay back. How could I? I was living in extreme poverty at the time. 15k was enough to get me by for a short time. Later on my car would get repossessed. A story for later. Feb 10th my dad Aaron took us to see System of the Clown. I really friggen awesome cover band. I ran into one of my current students there who tapped me on the shoulder and said Hi. I had no idea who he was at the time and really thought he was an old co- worker or someone I had gone through fire academy with. Feb 13 we played in Lucas dnd game at my house this time which was a really nice change. Feb 14 i deliverd flowers for valentines day. It was fun. I had to use my own car tho and the dude from the flower shop dose really really really poorly under stress. I only delivered flowers until 3pm. Earlier in the day I had a, new to me, energy drink that really made my stomach upset and i had to call it quits and go home. Feb 15 I reapplied to Falck. I didnt know this at the time but i had been Blacklisted to them. They wouldnt hire me. To me, I had done nothing wrong, taken them to court and their lawyers folded. Turns out when you take a company to court they wont rehire you. I applied one more after that with a second rejection. Feb 18 I worked the LARP booth for DunDraCon! That was fun. I was in an interview i just discovered so ill have to go and listen to that. I helped run a demo about our larp. That was pretty fun. We played some board game while we were there too. It was so fun to dress up at this convention. Feb 25th a huge battle at Wyverns Spur would ensu. I forget why so many people showed up. March 2ed my 1st edition of making Medieval Pants at my grandparents house. I think we were house sitting at the time. I think thats when grandma was super upset because when she got home for all of 5min she called Aaron and said it was “super uncool” that I left my cloths in the dryer. I had left to pickup liseth from work or something and I walked into the house with her on the phone saying those things. What a time. Im pretty sure i never house sat for her again after that. March 5th I worked on liseths leather quiver. I was so close to finishing and just messed up on one piece and havnt finished it yet. March 13th I had made my “raptor” t shirt out of fabric paint to play a monster at LARP. I think i only played that monster once. March 21st I made my LARP heraldry in leather for my back armor. I thought it came out really nice. March 21 at 10:46 Liseth and I were fighting about something. I know becuase i remember learning how to tool leather and got drunk while i was doing it. I ended up giving that piece to her later on.
