The wife wanted to go hiking and it was my turn to pick a hike. Im embarrassed to admit I had activated this peak in 2017 and forgot to log it. Dont worry, all contacts will be logged this time. I had been here in August with beautiful wildflower blooming and a few people hiking up. This time we were surprised by snow! about 2 miles of it!   But that didn’t stop us. We had no gear to traverse the snow. Luckily our hiking boots were waterproof. I had remembered how harsh the downhill was and happened grab hiking poles for the wife before we left. Im really glad I did.

Radio Gear used: MCHF with 10 watts into Buddipole setup for 20m vertical and close to resonate using a painters pole as mast/ walking stick. Battery is a 35Ah Bioenno.
